My client, WH in Greeley Ontario, was looking to find solutions to the problems in her family room:

• how to place furniture
• what lighting options to use
• how to select and hang artwork

We started by repositioning the furniture to allow for both the enjoyment of the magnificent fireplace and for kicking back and watching TV. Adding a variety of light options such as overheads, up-lights, spotlights, task lights and ambient lighting brought warmth and variety to the space.

Her favourite artwork demonstrated her outgoing and energetic personality and we were able to accommodate her love of symmetry by positioning artwork on either side of the fireplace, taking advantage of the spotlights. Positioning artwork over the sofa with artwork of a similar theme gave balance. Lots of green plants continued the energy and completed the look.
